Returns & Refunds – Assembli
We take pride in the quality of our flatpack furniture and want you to be completely satisfied. If something isn’t right, this page explains how returns, replacements and refunds work.
14-Day Change-of-Mind Returns
You have 14 calendar days from delivery to return an item if you’ve changed your mind.
- Item must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging, with all hardware/components.
- Return shipping is at the customer’s cost.
- Once received and inspected, eligible refunds are processed within 7 working days.
Note: Used, damaged or incomplete items, or items without original packaging, aren’t eligible for a refund.
30-Day Manufacturer’s Warranty (Defects)
All products include a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Issues caused by incorrect use, installation/assembly, mishandling, or external damage aren’t covered.
- If you suspect a manufacturing fault within 30 days, contact us immediately. We may request photos/videos to verify and advise next steps.
Damaged on Arrival
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and all internal/external packaging.
- After assessment, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
Installation & Assembly
Damage during self-assembly, incorrect installation, or improper use is not eligible for return, refund or warranty replacement.
Non-Returnable Items
- Used or customer-damaged items
- Items returned outside the return window
- Products returned without prior written approval
Packaging Requirements
Returns must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage. If a return arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, it may be rejected or only partially refunded.
Return Authorisation
All returns require written authorisation before shipping back to us. Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to sender.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply if packaging is opened/handled beyond basic inspection or the item isn’t returned in original condition.
Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection. Your bank/payment provider’s processing times may vary.
Courier Responsibility & Lost Returns
Customers are responsible for safe packaging and tracking of return shipments. Assembli isn’t liable for returns lost or damaged in transit—please use a reputable, insured courier.
Misuse of Policy
We may refuse service, returns or refunds where the policy is abused, false claims are submitted, or used/damaged items are returned improperly.
Warehouse Drop-off
Returns can be dropped off at our warehouse by appointment only. Contact us to schedule a time.
